Faizullah Noorzai denies links with Haqani Network

Faizullah Noorzai, one of the five accused for affiliation with Haqani network and who was declared as global terrorist, denied any links with the network.
American administration last week declared five individuals of the Haqani Network as global terrorist. These included Faizullah Khan Noorzai, Abdul Malik Noorzai, Abdur Rehman, Abdul Aziz Abbasin and Fazal Rahim.
In a telephonic interview with FRC on October 5, Faizullah Khan Noorzai denied any kind of links with the Haqani Network in Afghanistan or in Pakistan.
He said that he was much surprised to see his and his brother Abdul Malik Noorzai names on news channels that they are accused for links with Haqani Network and declared as global terrorist by the US Administration
Faizullah Khan said that he and his brother are businessmen by profession and are not involved in any kind of militant activity in Pakistan or in Afghanistan. I never met Jalal-Ud- Din Haqani, the head of Haqani group or to his oldest son Sairaj Haqani, he added.
“We never donated any money to the Haqani Network”, said Faizullah khan, adding that he frequently visited Afghanistan for his business activities and not for fighting against the American and NATO forces as a commander of the Haqani Network.
Faizullah Said that they are involved in the spare parts business, spread in many countries of the world including Japan, Germany, Afghanistan, UK, Thailand etc. He further said that one of his son is studying in Japan. Our enemies have provided wrong information to the Americans for being affiliated with Haqqani Network,” he added.
Faizullah Khan Noorzai said that he is only running an Islamic Madrassa in Chaman (Jamia Pakistan Tehafuz-ul-Quran) where free Islamic education is being imparted to more than hundred poor children.
Faizullah Khan appealed the American government to review their decision and conduct fair and unbiased investigation about him and his brother to know the truth regarding them.
