Khurassan group is the intelligence wing of Gull Bahadur Wazir group. This group has several hundred members. This is a secret group their job is to gather intelligence in North Waziristan Agency. Their main task is to capture American or Pakistani army or intelligence agencies spies in the agency. The name of the head of this group is kept secret due to security reasons. This group people are active everywhere in the agency. They work under cover and from their appearances no one can say that they are Taliban spies. The members of this group keep their identity secret from the local Taliban militants because they also keep a close watch on the local Taliban militants. When the group receive information about a suspected US or Pakistani spy then they start surveillance of the suspected spy and keep a twenty four hour watch on the activities of the suspected spy when the group collect enough proofs against the spy then he is captured by the group people and presented before the Taliban Shura of North Waziristan Agency along the proofs collected by the group against the suspected spy. If the suspected person is found guilty by the Shura then the suspect is handed over to the Khurassan group for elimination. The group most of the time award severe punishments to the US spies like beheading or blown up with bombs etc. Khurassan group keep close contacts with the Haqani Network people in North Waziristan Agency. Haqani Network people also provide Khurassan group information about US spies working in North Waziristan Agency.
