Kunduz Residents Claim Three Civilians Killed in Night Raid
Chardara: Three civilians were killed and seven others wounded in a night raid by Afghan security forces in Chardara district. According to Brigadier General, Sayed Qorban Musawi the night raid was carried out in Yatim and Charmgari villages of the district where a number of insurgents were killed and wounded. Helmand: The Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS) arrested a suicide bomber before he managed to carry out an attack in a busy part of Helmand province. During investigation, the suicide bomber claimed that he was trained on the other side of the Durand Line, a term used to refer to the tribal regions of Pakistan, including North Waziristan where the notorious Haqqani terrorist network is believed to be based. Nangarhar: At least 31 militants were killed in a series of airstrikes conducted in Nangarhar districts frequented by the militants loyal to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group.
