Sindh Apex Committee Held to Review the Progress of NAP
KARACHI: A meeting of Sindh apex committee was held at the headquarters of the V Corps in the provincial metropolis to review the overall law and order situation and progress of the National Action Plan (NAP) in Sindh with special focus on Karachi. Levies Official Killed in Target Killing Incident
KHUZDAR: A senior official of the Balochistan Levies Force was killed when armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire at the Levies official when he was passing through the Mastung Football Stadium. Rescue Training for Police to Organized in KP
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police department plan to organize first-aid and rescue training for police officials so they could become initial responders in case of emergencies and accidents.
KP Police chief Salahuddin Mehsud has sent a letter to the provincial home department and stated that police personnel are the first who reach the scene of an incident; therefore it is necessary to provide police officials training to retrieve victims and provide first-aid to the injured people. Unregistered Afghans asked to leave Mohmand
The political administration of Mohmand Agency has ordered unregistered Afghan refugees, mostly living in Ekkaghund subdivision, to leave the tribal region within six days. An official told this scribe that they issued a written notice to all the unregistered Afghan refugees to leave the area within six days.
