15 ISIS Militants Killed during Hamza Operations in East of Afghanistan
Nangarhar: At least 15 militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed during the ongoing Hamza military operations in eastern Nangarhar province. The militants were killed in the past 24 hours in Achin district during the clearance operations and airstrikes. At least thirty ISIS militants were killed during the Hamza operations. According to a migration official, Istiqlal Jalalzai, a 50 percent drop in financial assistance provided by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to Afghan refugees has affected their interest to return home from Pakistan.
