Nangarhar: 12 IS-K Militants Killed in Military Operation
On 16 February 2017, at least 12 loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed during the military operations “Shaheen-25” in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. Eight militants were killed in Pandok area of Kot district while four of the militants were killed in in Gorgori and Payeen areas of Haska Mina district.[1]
Paktika: Senior Leaders of Haqqani Network Killed in MO
On 16 February 2017, three senior leaders of Haqqani Network were killed in coordinated military operations in carried out in Paktika province of Afghanistan. The slain leaders of the notorious terrorist group were identified as Khan Badshah alias Faryadi, Fidai (Deputy of Khan Badsha) and Mohsin.[2]
Nangarhar: IS-K Leader Arrested during Search Operation
On 16 February 2017, a senior leader of Islamic State of Khorasan (IS-K) along with 12 others was arrested in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.[3]
