33 Daesh Militants Killed in Nangarhar Airstrike
Nangarhar: At least 33 Daesh insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried out by Afghan Air Force in Nangarhar province. The airstrike was conducted in Kot district of Nangarhar. At least 23 people have been arrested in connection with a deadly attack on main military hospital in Kabul, Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital. Polio Vaccination Center Set on Fire by Militants in East of Afghanistan
A polio vaccination center was set on fire apparently by the anti-government armed militants in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. AUAF Reopens Six Months after Deadly Attack
David Sedney, acting director of the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF), said that a large number of students have returned and that the university will officially reopen on Tuesday with strict security measures in place. According to him, “Tomorrow the lessons will start normally. We have started admitting new students from the 25th of March and more than 70 new students have joined us”. ACJC Arrests Ex-Army Commander over Corruption
According to the Anti-Corruption Criminal Justice Center (ACJC), Lt. Gen. Mohammad Moeen Faqir, the former commander of Maiwand Army Corps has been arrested on charges of embezzlement and misuse of authority.
