Zabul: At least 20 local and national policemen were killed in clashes with Taliban insurgents in southern Zabul province. ANA Artillery Units Pound Taliban Hideouts in Ghazni, Leaving Scores Dead
Ghazni: At least 48 insurgents were killed in the artillery strikes, while 28 others wounded when the Afghan National Army (ANA) artillery units pounded the hideouts of the Taliban insurgents in southeastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan. Seven ISIS Militants Killed, Twelve Wounded in East of Afghanistan
Nangarhar: At least seven militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group’s offshoot in Afghanistan, ISIS Khurasan, were killed during the operations in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The operations were conducted in the vicinity of Latakpur and Kandi Bagh areas of Chaparhar district. NSC yet to Sign off on Demilitarization of some ANP Units
Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) said that the country’s National Security Council (NSC) approved the plan for demilitarization of some units of the Afghan National Police (ANP) in principal, but the plan had yet to be finalized.
