Uruzgan: 20 Militants Killed in Air Strikes
On 14 February 2017, at least 20 fighters of Afghan Taliban were killed in a series of airstrikes conducted in Trinkot district of Uruzgan province in Afghanistan.[1]
Nangarhar: 16 IS-K Militants Killed in Military Operations
On 14 February 2017, at least sixteen loyalists of the Islamic State of Khorasan (IS-K) were killed while two others wounded during military operations in eastern Nangarahr province of Afghanistan. According to military sources, five of the militants were killed in Haska Mina District while the rest of 11 were killed in Kot District of the province.[2]
Kapisa: Search Operation Left Four Militants Dead
On 14 February 2017, three militants were killed while 4 others wounded in a clash with Afghan National Police (ANP) in the Tagab district of central Kapisa province in Afghanistan.[3]
