Five Terror Suspects Killed
Dera Ghazi Khan: Rangers claimed to have killed five suspected terrorists and arrested two others in Chhera Thal area of Dera Ghazi Khan District during an intelligence-based operation. Security Forces Foiled Major Terror Attack
Peshawar: Three terrorists were arrested while planting an IED at Peshawar’s Northern Bypass. Those arrested were identified as Abdul Wahab, Sardar Ibrahim and Saifullah. Quetta: Security forces carried out an operation in Quetta on actionable intelligence and foiled the terrorist attack. Two terrorists were arrested while the security forces also recovered explosives, said ISPR. The terrorists hid 80 kilograms of explosives in a car, added ISPR. Twenty Four Army’s Check Posts Built at Various Points in Parachinar
Kurram Agency: After a suicide attack in Parachinar and threats issued by Daesh the political administration has decided to secure the city of militants’ attacks and has directed the local people to remain vigilant during night.Work was also started to dig out bunkers around Parachinar to control the movement of vehicles on illegal crossings. Girls School in Bara Partially Damaged in Explosive Device Attack
Khyber Agency: Unidentified people fixed explosive devices with the wall of a girls’ school which exploded and caused partial damage to it. The school is located at Bara, KamberKhel. Last Phase of IDPs Repatriation to South Waziristan to Begin on April 10

Maulana Fazl Demands FATA Reforms in Consent with Tribal People
Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief, said that decisions should not be enforced on the people of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, like the Frontier Crimes Regulations was thrust upon them. According to him, “If decisions are forced upon the Tribes people from Islamabad then what will be the difference between us and the colonizers”. Centre Refuses to Trust KP Government over FATA Development Funds
According to Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch, Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON), development of FATA is the responsibility of the federal government, while the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government can only give recommendations in this respect. He further said that Rs1, 000 billion would be spent on development projects in FATA during the next 10 years.
