Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi police have recovered a hand grenade shell near a school on Indus Road in Lal Kurti. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and Civil Lines police officials rushed where the shell was found and took it into custody. The Process of Conducting Census in Wana Will Start on April 25
According to political administration, census in South Waziristan will be kicked off from April 25. All the security measures will be kept in mind while conducting the census. The census will be conducted by teachers to whom security will be provided by Khasadar, and armed personnel. Census Staff in Bajaur to get Fool Proof Security
Fool proof security measures have been taken for smooth conduct of 6th population and housing census in Bajaur Agency beginning from April 25. Return of Orakzai TDPs Continue at Slow Pace
Of the 23,939 internally displaced families from Orakzai Agency registered by Sarhad Rural Support Program for issuance of voluntary return form (VRF) only 5,500 have returned to their respective hometowns due to inadequate cash compensation. The number of people being repatriated was low because the tribesmen considered the compensation insufficient for reconstruction of their houses and starting small businesses in their hometowns from a scratch. TDPs’ Return from Afghanistan to NWA Continues
The repatriation of the North Waziristan Agency’s temporary displaced persons from Afghanistan continued on second day as well. According to political administration the repatriation of TDPs from Sadgai area would continue till April 29.
