Cop Killed, another Injured in Bomb Blast in Mohmand Agency
Mohmand Agency: A levies soldier was killed and another wounded in a bomb blast in Alingar area of Safi tehsil of the Mohmand Agency. According to political administration, the levies personnel were on route to check post to perform their duties when a roadside planted bomb went off in Alingar area of Safi tehsil. Bomb Attack on Security Forces in Kech
Kech: Four soldiers laid down their lives and three others suffered injuries in a bomb attack on a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy near Mand area of Kech district. A civilian was also killed in the incident. Official sources said that the convoy was going to Mand, a town in the Makran division near the border with Iran, when the roadside bomb went off, destroying one vehicle and damaging another. Two Shot Dead
Kech: Two people were shot dead by unknown armed men in the Zamran area of Kech district. Levies officials said that the armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on Habibullah and Muhammad Mujahid in the Zamran area of Buleda Tehsil, killing both of them on the spot. Dawn

Population Census Teams Dispatched to Tirah Maidan
Khyber Agency: All arrangements were being finalized and teams of enumerators along with security cover have been dispatched to conduct the population census in the conflict wrecked Tirah Maidan of Khyber Agency as the second phase of sixth housing and population census would begin. The administration further said that tight security arrangements were being made in Tirah Maidan to ensure foolproof security during the census process. Pakistan Persuades Iran to Join Saudi Alliance
Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has asked attorney general to pave way for Tehran-Riyadh rapprochement. Although it has the potential to derail Pakistan’s relationship with its key Muslim neighbor and have far reaching strategic and domestic implications, the country’s civil and military authorities decided to join the Saudi led alliance with the hope it may foster unity in the Islamic world.
