LANDI KOTAL: Two schoolchildren were injured when one of the two mortar shells fired from across the Afghan border exploded near the hostel of the Army Public School inside an army camp. Officials said that the other shell landed in an empty compound and caused no damage. Parachinar IDPs Refuse To Repatriate Until Completion Of Clearance Operation
PARACHINAR: The internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Parachinar sub-division of Kurram Agency have refused to repatriate to their areas until the completion of the operation to completely clear the area from arms. While advocating for the Parachinar’s displaced families, tribal elder Haji Roohullah said that around 1300 families have been displaced following surge in sectarian violence in Parachinar in 2007. Talks with Kabul to boost trust
KARACHI: Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua called on Afghan President Dr Ashraf Ghani in Kabul to discuss bilateral relations and the geostrategic situation in the region.
