9 Suspects Held in Capital
Islamabad: The capital police arrested 9 suspects and recovered weapons during search operations in different areas of Islamabad. According to details, the Secretariat police conducted the search operation in various areas including Muslim Colony, Quaid-e-Azam University and other areas adjacent to Diplomatic Enclave. During the search operation, 85 houses were scanned, and details and identification of hundreds of people were verified. Dawn

Ghareza Bridge Constructed Four Years Ago in Dilapidated Condition
Ghareza Bridge, which was constructed in Jamrud, Khyber Agency, four years ago, is in dilapidated condition again. The local people said substandard material had been used in the construction of bridge which was severely damaged and dangerous for the passing vehicles. The local people demanded action against contractor who used substandard construction material in the bridge. Radio TNN
Several Schools in Bajaur without Shelters
Several state-run schools in Bajaur Agency are functioning without shelters and basic facilities, forcing students to sit in the open on dusty mats in extreme weather conditions. Political Agent of Khyber Agency, Khalid Mehmood, said that the people of Khyber Agency would be facilitated in post-conflict period and all types of help would be extended to them. He further said that tribal chief should also play their role in ensuring peace and stability in the area.
