Three Police Personnel Killed in Attack on Police Van in Peshawar
Peshawar: At least three police personnel were killed and four sustained injuries in the attack on a police van in Chamkani area of Peshawar. The incident took place when unknown armed men opened indiscriminate firing on a police mobile van in the locality. The police retaliated to the attack in which one of the attackers was killed, while others managed to escape after committing the crime. The security forces rushed to the area and started search operation to arrest the culprits involved in the attack. So far no arrest was being made. Radio TNN, Akhbar-E-Khyber
Eleven Suspects Arrested during Joint Operation in Charsadda
Charsada: At least eleven suspected persons including three criminals were arrested during a joint search and strike operation of police and security forces in Tangi and Mandani areas of Charsadda district. Two Injured in Indian Shelling
Muzafarabad: At least two civilians were injured in shelling by the Indian troops in Azad and Jamu Kashmir in Kutli Gujjran village. The shelling also take place in Darra Sher Khan in Poonch District. Dawn

Opponents’ Allegations, Conspiracies to End up in Ashes: PM Nawaz
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that all the allegations and conspiracies of opponents would end up in ashes adding that he has accounted for every penny today. The Prime Minister further said that he had just presented his stance before the JIT and mentioned that details of his assets and resources had already been submitted with the relevant institutions, including the Supreme Court. Assemblies May be Dissolved before Tenure: Sindh CM
Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, said that it was a possibility that the assemblies would not be able to complete their tenure and would be dissolved. While a spokesperson for the Sindh CM later said that the statement by the CM was related to the fiscal year of the provincial government and has nothing to do with the political situation in the country. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that bringing FATA into the national mainstream through the reforms process has become inevitable. Shortage of Clean Drinking Water Causing Miseries for Jamrud Residents
The residents of Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency are facing severe miseries due to shortage of clean drinking water. Residents of Surkamar, Azghumela complained that a natural water spring is the only source to supply clean drinking water to the area residents. Rs 52.1 billion Budget Announced for Baluchistan
The government of Baluchistan planned to spend Rs 328.5 billion on its operations and infrastructure development in the province during the next financial year while 140.7 billion will be spent on pay and pensions of provincial government employees. 86 billion will be spent on the development social and economic infrastructure.
