Seven Officials Sent to Jail after Prisoner Escapes from Parachinar Prison
Kurram Agency: Seven officials, including a political moharrar, have been sent to jail after escape of a prisoner from Parachinar prison of Kurram Agency. A prisoner, Qaiser Hussain, escaped from Parachinar prison after which Tehsildar Muhammad Riaz took action and sent Political Moharrar Tahir Hussain, Levies Naib Subedar Naeem Hussain, Havaldar Taj and sepoys Mirbat, Kamil Hussain, Ismail and Shafiq to Parachinar sub-jail. TWO Terrorists Killed in Tank

Search Operation in Islamabad and Mandi Bahudin
Islamabad/Mandi Bahudin: Pakistan Rangers and Punjab Rangers along with CTD, Police and Intelligence Agencies carried out joint search operations in surrounding areas of Mandi Bahudin and Nilore area, located in the outskirts of Islamabad. SC Rejected Hussain Nawaz’s Plea against JIT Photo Leak
The Supreme Court has dismissed Hussain Nawaz’s plea against leakage of a CCTV image of his appearance before the joint investigation team (JIT) probing Panama Papers case against the Sharif family. While terming the plaintiff’s reservations ‘baseless’, the apex court declared that culprits behind photo leak have already been identified after an inquiry. In his petition on June 7, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son had claimed that the photo leak was against ethical and legal codes, adding that recording videos of the JIT’s proceedings was similar to “pressurizing” witnesses appearing before the investigation team. The order said that the use of audio or video devices to facilitate the recording of statement had not been prohibited by any interpretation of the law. Steady Progress` being made in Afghan Border Fencing
The army said on Tuesday that it was making steady progress in fencing the border with Afghanistan to prevent unauthorized crossings. `Measures to improve security situation along the Pak-Afg border are continuing,` the military`s public relations wing ISPR said as it released pictures of parts of the border that have been fenced. USAID, Ministry of Finance Renew Ongoing Cooperation for Development in Pakistan
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Finance has signed the latest amendment to the Pakistan Enhanced Partnership Agreement (PEPA), to provide additional development assistance to Pakistan. This agreement provides an additional Rs 19 billion to create economic opportunities and pursue economic and political reforms that promote prosperity in Pakistan. The USAID programs to be supported through this agreement were developed in consultation with the Pakistani government and support the Government of Pakistan’s Vision 2025, which sets forth a roadmap for a prosperous Pakistan.
