ANP Worker Injured in Bajaur Blast
Khar: A worker of Awami National Party was wounded in a roadside bomb blast in Bajaur Agency’s Utmankhel tehsil. The blast took place at around 7.30am in Hiyati area, some 22 kilometres east of Khar, the main town of the tribal agency.

Tribesmen Oppose Merger, Demand Council
Khyber Agency: In a desperate attempt to mobilize people against the anticipated merger of Fata in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a public meeting was organized by a social organization Khyber Union near Qambar Abad market in which, the tribesmen rejected the proposed merger of FATA into KPK and instead of it, demanded the establishment of a separate and autonomous Fata Council where the people of the tribal areas can use their democratic rights freely.
