FC Recovers Weapons in Khyber Agency
Khyber Agency: The Frontier Corps (FC), on Sunday, recovered huge quantity of weapons and explosive materials during search operation in Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency. According to FC, the explosive materials and weapons were hidden in fields of Sheen Qamar area of Bara. The seized items include PG7 shells, RP 7, wireless antennas and a heavy machinegun, said FC officials. Radio TNN
Khasadar Gunned Down in Jamrud
Khyber Agency: A khasadar was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency. According to political administration of the agency, Khasadar Abdul Shakoor, a resident of Malakabad, was on his way back home after performing his official duties when unknown motorcyclists intercepted him near the railway track and opened indiscriminate firing on him. 100 Fishermen Came Under Arrest
Karachi/Thatta: The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency seized at least 100 Indian fishermen for `fishing in Pakistani waters`, sources confirmed. The arrest of the Indians apparently followed an incident in which personnel of the Indian Coast Guard took away nine Pakistani fishermen on gunpoint, along with their motorboat and their catch, from the Sir Creek area in the Arabian Sea.
