Bomb Found near School, Defused
Narowal: A bomb disposal staff defused a bomb found along the boundary wall of a private school in village Langah Bhattian. The students spotted the bomb during break time and informed the principal about it. Iran Threatens to Hit Militants ‘Safe Havens’ in Pakistan
London: The head of the Iranian armed forces warned Islamabad that Tehran would hit bases inside Pakistan if the government did not confront ‘militants who carry out cross-border attacks’. Ready to Change CPEC Name, Says Chinese Envoy to India
Islamabad: Chinese Ambassador to India Luo Zhaohui said his country was ready to change the name of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Addressing a session at the United Service Institution of India in New Delhi Luo, while denying China’s involvement in the sovereignty and territorial disputes between India and Pakistan, said the CPEC was for promoting economic cooperation and connectivity. “It (CPEC) has no connections to or impact on sovereignty issues.
