No confirmation of Khorasani’s death in Drone Strikes
Islamabad: The Senate standing committee on defense told that it cannot be confirmed that Jamat ul Ahrar (JUA) chief Omar Khalid has been killed in U.S drone attack. The picture claimed to be that of dead Khorasani was in reality of Omar Naray (The master mind of the attack on the Army Public School Peshawar) who was killed in a drone attack last year in July. IDPs hold demo to seek ration
Peshawar: Persons belonging to Kokikhel tribe held a protest demonstration against the federal government for its failure to provide them ration and other essential items. They urged that the government should allow them to return back so there children could get back with education. They said that the provision of ration has been suspended 6 months ago which has added to their problems. Elders argue that their areas are cleared of militants and looking forward towards it they shall be granted to go to their areas but perhaps they are not with the increasing problem of ration. Dawn

Afghanistan Won’t Join CPEC Until It Gets Access to India: Ashraf Ghani
Peshawar: Afghan president Ashraf Ghani said if Pakistan were not to allow Afghanistan to connect with India. Afghanistan will not become a part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) until it allows connectivity between the two states. Ashraf Ghani further reported that Afghanistan will not give access to Pakistan to Central Asian states if Pakistan denied access of Afghanistan to India through CPEC. He said Kabul has informed Islamabad about its intentions and thus leaving it to Pakistan. He said Afghanistan will react after Pakistan’s decision on the issue. RadioTNN
