South Waziristan Agency: Roadside blast injures eight security personnel
On 9 November 2016, at least eight security personnel were wounded when a roadside bomb, planted along a road, exploded in Spin Wam Tehsil of South Waziristan Agency exploded.[1]

Swabi: A civilian shot dead in Gari Kapura Area
Two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle fired gunshots at a stenographer working for the DSP office Swabi, while he was on his way home, in Gari Kapura area of the city. The victim lost his life on the spot while his attackers fled away after killing him.[2]
Charsadda: Search Operation in Shabqadar Tehsil
On 9 of November 2016, five suspected people were arrested and a huge cache of arms was recovered from their possession during a search and strike operation in Saro Kallay area of Shabqadar tehsil. The operation was conducted by police, FC and army personnel.[3]

Bahawalnagar: Miscreants allegedly associated with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi arrested
The CTD has arrested four suspected terrorists, allegedly associated with the banned sectarian extremist group, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi during a raid carried out on the Bahawalnagar-Arifwala bypass, after receiving intelligence about their nefarious plans. Explosives have also been recovered from their possession.[4]

Karachi: Suspected militants gunned down during an encounter in Manghopir
An intelligence-based search operation was being carried out by paramilitary forces in Manghopir area of Karachi when the suspected militants hiding in the vicinity opened fire which began a gun battle. Three suspects were killed and a soldier was injured during the encounter. Paramilitary personnel also confiscated arms and ammunition from the hideout.[5]
Karachi: Gangsters killed in a raid in Musharraf Colony
On 9 November 2016, a police party carried out a raid in Musharraf Colony after receiving intelligence of the presence of gangsters in the area. Two of the gangsters were killed and a policeman was injured during the raid.[6]
