Khyber Agency: Security Forces Operation in Jamrud – 21 suspects arrested
A curfew was imposed in Jamrud as part of an operation which was conducted after the killing of a Khasadar soldier and wounding of three others by the banned organization, Lashkar-e-Islam, earlier. 21 suspected militants were also arrested during the operation.[1]
Mohmand Agency: Roadside IED defused by security forces in Safi
The security forces, on a regular patrol in Safi Tehsil of Mohmand Agency found an Improvised Explosive Device planted on roadside. The explosives were defused before they could bring about any damage, and a search operation was initiated in the region.[2]

Swabi: Clash between Security Forces and Militants leaves three dead
An Elite Police Party was patrolling in Maini village which is a stronghold of militants in Swabi when they spotted three suspects and signaled them to stop, whence, instead of stopping they opened fire and a clash erupted. Two of them were killed in the fight and a constable of Elite Police force lost his life.[3]
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Muzaffarabad: Indian firing across the border wounds five
Indian troops carried out indiscriminate firing across the Line of Control in Poonch district in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, wounding five Pakistani civilians. According to a statement put forth by ISPR, the firing took place in Battal sector and was retaliated to, in letter and spirit.[4]

Islamabad: Third Interim Report of CPEC given by Special Committee of Senate
The third interim report on CPEC has been put forward by the Special Committee of Senate on CPEC. It revealed that the width of Karakorum Highway is inadequate for the expected load of traffic in the future. An alternative route for the CPEC is also proposed which would require connecting Gahkuch to Shandur and to Chitral via Shandur Pass.[5]
Lakki Marwat: First Trade Trucks under CPEC drive through Lakki Marwat
As part of the first trade activity under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, Chinese trucks loaded with trade goods drove through Lakki Marwat. Strict security measures were taken for the activity which lasted for two days.[6]
