Peshawar: Security personnel attacked in Shinwari Town area
Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a vehicle of the City Patrol Force, killing a policeman and wounding three others on 28 November in Shinwari Town area of Peshawar. The attackers did not possess a vehicle and managed to flee the scene.[1]
Bannu: Jamaat-ul-Ahrar claims militant attacks in Bannu
Jamaat-ul-Ahrar claimed responsibility of two attacks in Bannu which occurred on 28 November. In one attack, three armed persons attacked a tribal elder – he was also a member of the Janikhel Peace Committee – and killed him. In the other attack, masked men opened fire and killed a Levies Hawaldar in Mandi Bakakhel area.[2]
Dera Ismail Khan: CTD arrested suspect with explosives
The Counter Terrorism Department arrested a person carrying explosive material on 28 November, in Dera Mandi Bypass area. The explosives were confiscated and the suspect was arrested for interrogation.[3]

Sukkur: Terror suspects arrested with explosives
A police team in the outskirts of Rohri town searched a car and found explosive material therein. The occupants of the car were arrested and the material was confiscated. They were supposedly heading from Punjab to Karachi.[4]

Dera Bugti: Two suspected militants killed
The Frontier Corps killed two extremists and arrested two others during a ground operation conducted in Sartif Area of Dera Bugti. They also destroyed five hideouts of militants and confiscated weapons as well.[5]

Bajaur Agency: Speakers from Bajaur call for merger of FATA and KP
On 28 November, a conference was arranged by FATA Research Centre in Bajaur where speakers addressed the topic of Governance Reforms in FATA. They talked in favor of the Merger of FATA into KP and rejected the proposal of conducting a referendum for deciding the future of FATA.[6]

North Waziristan Agency: Reconstruction of Miranshah Bazaar opposed by tribal elders
The tribal elders in North Waziristan have expressed reservations over the reconstruction of Miranshah Bazaar being carried out by the government. The tribesmen are of the view that the shop owners should be compensated so that they can carry out the reconstruction themselves and avoid possible land disputes in future.[7]

Karak: Dams to be constructed in Karak
Abid Khan Wazir, the Deputy Commissioner for Karak has said that Production Bonus funds of Rs25 million would be used to construct mini dams and check dams at different places in Karak so as to counter the problem of water shortage.[8]
