Khyber Agency: Landmine Blast in Tirah kills a soldier
On 7 November 2016, an Army patrolling jeep drove over a landmine in Tirah leaving a soldier dead while two others wounded. The injured were taken to a medical hospital and a search operation was initiated in the region. However, no arrests were made so far.[1]
Mohmand Agency: Tribal elders urged to take action against militants
The tribal elders of Safi tribe have been asked to remain on guard and take action against the facilitators of militants in their region, so as to fulfill their duty of collective territorial responsibility.[2]

Mansehra: One killed during a fire inside a bus
Unknown gunmen ambushed a moving passenger bus in Gazikot area, thereby taking the life of a civilian and wounding two others. The bus was on its way from Mansehra to Abbotabad when the incident occurred.[3]

Karachi: Lashkar-e-Jhangvi militants arrested in Liaqatabad
The Counter Terrorism Department has arrested two suspected Lashkar-e-Jhangvi militants, said to be involved in sectarian murders as well as the murder of Amjad Sabri, while carrying out an intelligence-based operation in Liaqatabad area of Karachi.[4]
Baluchistan
Quetta: Baloch insurgents surrender to the government
On 7 November 2016, at least 202 Baloch militants, including seven high-ranking militant commanders, surrendered their arms to the Government. They announced parting of their ways with their organizations and pledged the Chief Minister of Baluchistan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri to join mainstream politics in order to serve the country.[5]
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Muzaffarabad: Firing across LoC kills three and injures eight Pakistani civilians
Indian troops continued their indiscriminate firing along the LoC in Nakyal sector which falls in Kotli district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Three Pakistani civilians were killed and eight were wounded during the cross-border gunfire.[6]

Kurram Agency: IDP’s repatriation and rehabilitation in its final stage
Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, the KPK governor said that the repatriation of IDP’s in Kurram Agency was in its final stages and development projects worth Rs1.6 billion were underway to ensure their proper rehabilitation.[7]

Islamabad: Wapda directed to pay Rs 82 billion as net hydel profit
As per the directions of federal government, Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has to pay Rs82 billion to the government of Punjab as net hydel profit (NHP) for power generated by the 1450MW Ghazi-Barotha hydropower project since 2005.[8]
