LAKKI MARWAT: The house of a Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel was partially damaged in a blast at Michankhel. The sources said that unidentified persons had planted an explosive device near the house Salim Khan, an employee of FC in Michankhel in Lakki city, that went off at night. PARACHINAR: Security forces arrested four militants including a commander. The sources said four militants were travelling in a vehicle when the soldiers manning the Mali Killay checkpost stopped their vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle were identified as militant commander Ismail Mosozai, Wakil Khan, Waqas and Gul Ahmed. They were taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation. The sources said they were wanted to security forces in terrorism-related incidents. The News.
MIRAMSHAH: At least two militants were killed as security forces repulsed an attack on a checkpost in Dattakhel Tehsil of North Waziristan tribal region whereas one solider was also wounded in the attack that took place early. The official added that one solider was also inured in the attack.Meanwhile curfew was imposed on Bannu-Miranshah road for an indefinite period after the attack and security forces were carrying out a search operation in the area.
