BAJAUR AGENCY, Nov 4: A woman was injured as rockets fired from the Afghanistan side landed at the border area of Tehsil Mamond in Bajaur Agency on Sunday evening.
Officials of the local administration said that unidentified militants fired several rockets from across the border targeting Bandagi, a border village of Mamond tehsil, 30 km away from the Agency head quarters Khar.
The official said that one rocket landed at a house of local tribesman and as a result a 35 year old woman, Fatima Bibi was injured.
She was taken to the Agency head quarter hospital Khar for treatment where her condition was stated to be out of danger.
Mean while tribal elders of Mamond Tehsil have expressed concerns over the attack and vowed to continue fight against militants in the area.
