TANK, Aug 01: The country’s leading intelligence apparatus claims to have formally informed the Dera Ismail Khan central administrative machinery two days before, on 27th July 2013, the major attack on central jail in the city that happened on 29th July, FRC learnt.
According to FRC reports some twenty five commanders of the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have been released in the jail break. Most of the released were involved in criminal and terrorist activities in the country.
The letter has been addressed to the high up’s of D.I.Khan district administration including Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Inspector General of Police (D.I.Khan Division) and DPO of D.I.Khan besides DPO Tank. A copy of the same was also sent to Superintendent Central Jail D.I.Khan.
The letter bore the warning threat message in its subject line and reads like;
