Wana, Mar 27: Local Taliban Wana chapter of South Waziristan Agency has imposed a ban over consulting Aman Committee, Peace committee, offices in Sub-division Wana and has warned the locals, including Taliban, to refrain from violating the imposed sanction otherwise they would be dealt with an iron hand.
The message was conveyed through a pamphlet that was distributed in the area here on Thursday.
According to the paper the ban would be applicable from 30th March 2014 and will last till 30th December 2014.
The pamphlet reads as;
It is to inform here all the residents of sub-division Wana, South Waziristan Agency, not to consult Aman Committee offices in the area for their any type of conflict, either personal, tribal or regional(Agency) issues. As all offices of Peace Committee would be under complete ban from 30th March 2014 till 30th December 2014. The ban encompasses all branches of Aman Committee in all the councils of Sub-division Wana.
Nobody, including local Taliban, would be allowed to approach these offices during the said period. If someone violates the rule, he will be punished severely.
In addition, all local shopkeepers, are hereby warned to avoid illegal practices while measuring commodities in their daily businesses. If someone being caught red handed, his shop would be shut down for three days. Similarly if dealers of Petrol Pumps were found doing malpractices, their pumps will be closed for two days and those people who used to park their vehicles on road side, their vehicles will be impounded for one complete day.
In addition all the restaurant owners are advised to take special care of cleanliness in their workplaces.
In case the locals are having reservations over Taliban attitude during the imposed ban period then they may consult the following members of a committee specifically organized for complaints;

4. Noor ar Ali Speen Zeeray
5. Abdul Ghafoor Walaswaal
We expect full cooperation from the locals of Sub-division Wana during the period.
