Jamrud, Nov 07: Tribal elders hailing from Mullagori tribe of tehsil Jamrud, Khyber Agency, have demanded of the governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and additional chief secretary (ACS) FATA to immediately transfer the alleged corrupt officials of Refugee Affected and Hosting Areas (RAHA) program otherwise the area people would launch a protest in front of FATA secretariat and governor house Peshawar, FRC learnt.
The reservations were presented by aggrieved Malik Yousaf Shah Mullagori and Malik Gul Mohammad Mullagori in a press conference held in Jamrud Press Club the other day.
“We welcomed the officials of the program but later on we found them incompetent and corrupt which compelled us to lodge our protest”, said Malik Yousaf.
The elders accused the officers of RAHA for giving small development schemes to untrained non-registered CBUs, blue eyed and influential people of the area. “Those people who were the favorites of the RAHA officials were entrusted the developmental schemes that were aimed only to be handed over to those who are well trained and skillful”, said Malik Yousaf.
This is to be recalled here that tribal people, politicians and even the elected representatives at the Standing committees of Senate have expressed their strong reservations about the fake and unfounded development schemes in all over the tribal regions.
The Senate standing committee for SAFRON and FATA had recently observed that the political administration and other line departments including FATA secretariat present the files and documents regarding successful completion of micro and macro development projects in tribal areas, but unfortunately there is nothing on the ground in FATA.
