Charsada, Junuary 20, 2016: TTP Dara Adamkhel group in an electronic message to FRC claimed responsibility for the heinous act of barbarism that happened on Wednesday at Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, where 25 people, mostly students, were killed and dozens others were injured, FRC learnt.
Umar Mansoor alias Narray, central spokesperson of Tehreek-e-Taliban Dara Admankhel Group, called Sailab Mehsud, FRC field researcher for South Waziristan Agency and claimed responsibility for the attack on Bacha Khan University Charsada.
“The attack on APS in 16 December 2014 was a warning to Security forces of Pakistan to halt the killing and torturing of Taliban prisoners in their custody but the Pakistani security forces continued their activities against Taliban”, said Umar Mansoor.
“Since the attack on APS, the Pakistani security forces have killed 300 Taliban prisoners in their custody and 150 Taliban fighters are missing. This attack on Bacha Khan University was in retaliation to avenge the killing and atrocities of Taliban fighters in the hands of Pakistan security forces”, added Umar Mansoor.
“In the operation 4 fighters by the name of Umar, Usman, Ali Muhammad and Abid, of special task force of Tehreek-e-Taliban ‘SMG’ took part”, said Umar Mansoor.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Khurasani, the central spokesperson of TTP, not only denied the responsibility for the attack but also said that those who are behind the attack on Bacha Khan University will be brought to justice by TTP.
