Bajaur Agency: A minor kid was killed and two people were injured in a roadside bomb blast in Sheenkot area of Khar tehsil. A minor kid died on the spot while two other tribesmen – Gul Mast and Farmanullah – were critically injured. Mob Attacks Deranged Man Booked for Blasphemy
Chitral: An apparently deranged man made remarks considered blasphemous by other worshippers at a mosque, stoking riots in Chitral after Friday prayers as an enraged mob tried to ransack the police station where he was confined after his arrest. 500 Baloch Militants Surrender, Abandon Arm Struggle
Quetta: Around 500 militants belonging to different banned Baloch militant organisations surrendered themselves to authorities concerned. At a ceremony held on the lawns of the Balochistan Assembly building, the militants announced that they had abandoned the armed struggle against the government and would join mainstream politics. Raheel Leaves for Riyadh to Command Military Alliance
Islamabad: Former army chief retired Gen Raheel Sharif left for Riyadh to assume the command of the 41-nation Islamic Military Alliance to Fight Terrorism (IMAFT) after the government quietly cleared him to serve the coalition, which is gradually taking shape. `Gen Raheel Sharif has been issued an NOC to join IMAFT after GHQ`s consent and meeting legal formalities. Three boys injured in Quetta blast
Quetta: Three boys were injured in a blast at the Zarghoon Road area of the provincial capital. According to police sources, the blast occurred when the victims were near the garbage, leaving three boys injured on the spot. The injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital. The police sources said the bomb was covered in a plastic bag and was kept by unknown men which went off. Law-enforcement agency personnel reached the site and cordoned off the area. The News

Awareness Walk Held in Miranshah to Ensure 100% Enrollment
North Waziristan Agency: As part of its campaign to enroll each and every child in school, the Fata Education department in collaboration with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) arranged an awareness walk here in the headquarter of the North Waziristan Agency. Tribal elders, school children and other notables participated in the walk.
