Terrorist Arrested in Swat
Swat: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of police arrested an alleged militant identified as Zahoor, a resident of Palaw Sakhakot, from bypass road in Rahimabad. He was reportedly involved in anti-state activities and was wanted to police in torching a government school at Dardiyal village in Kabal tehsil in 2008. ‘Red Alert’ in Kurram Tribal Region
Kurram Agency: The political administration and security agencies issued a `red alert` after receiving reports that suicide bombers and fighters of the militant Islamic State group had sneaked into Kurram Agency from across the Afghan border. Two Foreigners among 12 Suspects Held in Raid
Karachi: The paramilitary force arrested 12 suspects, including criminals and drug peddlers, in raids conducted in various parts of the city. Two Afghan nationals who were residing in Pakistan illegally were also taken into custody. These suspects were involved in purchasing and smuggling illegal weapons and were doing drug business. Two CSD Employees Injured in Firing Incident
Peshawar: At least two people were injured after suspects on bikes opened fire at them near Phandu Road in Jamil Chowk. The injured, who were employees of the Army’s Canteen Stores Department (CSD) shop, were carrying vegetables to the store when the gunmen opened fire at their vehicle.
