Karachi: Arms and ammunition seized in Old Clifton
The police conducted an intelligence-based search operation in Old Clifton area and recovered arms and ammunition from a garbage dump. Following the operation, the Boat Basin Police registered an FIR against unidentified suspects on behalf of the state.[1]

Quetta: Culprit behind Quetta Police College carnage held
Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Chief Minister of Baluchistan province, said, on 10 November 2016, that the mastermind behind very recent attack on Quetta Police College has been arrested. The arrestee was also involved in the suicide attack on civil hospital.[2]
Gwadar: A civilian shot dead by unknown gunmen
On 10 November 2016, unidentified assailants attacked an official of the New Town Housing Scheme, Gwadar thereby killing him in front of his house in the Township area of Gwadar. The victim was nephew of a former Nazim of the area.[3]

Karachi: Pakistan’s GDP to rise to 5.4pc by the Fiscal Year 2018
According to the biannual report prepared by the World Bank and SZABIST, Pakistan’s GDP is currently 4.7pc – the highest in last eight years – and is expected to increase to5.4pc by the year 2018. However, the continued growth is not guaranteed.[4]
