Khyber agency: Political administration demolishes the house of a militant
The house of late Tehreek-e-Taliban militant, Noor Muhammad alias Noorai was abolished by political administration of Khyber agency with assistance of Swat Scouts. Noor Muhammad was affiliated to Ababeel group of TTP and was killed in an encounter with security forces last week due to his involvement in the recent killing of a polio worker in Ghundi area of Jamrud.[1]

Hangu: Militant arrested at Badoran checkpoint
On 3 November 2016, Police arrested a militant named Muhammad Zaman alias Godo at Badoran checkpoint in Hangu. A police official told media reporters that Godo was wanted by law-enforcement agencies due to his alleged involvement in anti-state activities including murder, robbery and kidnapping for ransom. The suspect was shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.[2]
Malakand: Police arrest 624 suspects and 67 proclaimed offenders
According to DIG Malakand, Akhtar Hayat Khan, police conducted search operations in different parts of Malakand division and arrested 67 wanted offenders and 624 other suspects involved in criminal and anti-state activities. He further added that police also recovered large quantities of alcohol, drugs, weapons and ammunitions from the possession of the suspects.[3]
Peshawar: A tribesman of Mohmand agency critically injured in Hayatabad
A tribesman of Mohmand agency was critically injured in Hayatabad when unknown persons shot at him near Amir Muawiya Mosque in phase 4 area of Hayatabad. The tribesman, identified as Abdul Haq, son of Ahmedzai, was shifted to nearby hospital in critical condition.[4]

High-ranking military official killed in federal capital
On 3 November 2016, unknown assailants stormed the residence of an Army Major located in Sector I-8/4 and shot him dead. The cause of the killing was, however, unknown.[5]

Karachi: Suspected target killers held in Lyari
Two alleged gangsters supposedly involved in around 15 murder cases based on ethnic grounds and other reasons have been arrested by the Kalri Police, from Lyari area of Karachi.[6] The suspects were arrested during an operation conducted in the locality.

Peshawar: Second phase of compensatory payment to affectees of SWA begins
The reconstruction and rehabilitation unit of the Civil Secretariat FATA under the federal government-funded Citizen Loss Compensation Programme begins the second phase of payment of compensation for the damaged houses in South Waziristan agency, today on November 4, 2016. During the first phase, the programme compensated 5,445 out of 5,575 displaced families of South Waziristan agency.[7]

Batagram: The Corridor Front warns to stage protest against federal government
A rally was held by Corridor Front in Kuzabanda area to express their concerns regarding stakes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. The front leaders issued a warning to the federal government that if the federal government kept diverting all the benefits of CPEC to Punjab and kept using KP as a CPEC transit route the Corridor Front would stage a protest in front of the PM House.[8]
