Balochistan Constabulary Men Attacked
Quetta: At least three Balochistan Constabulary personnel were martyred in an attack on a checkpoint on Sariab Road. According to the police, the personnel were attacked by men on motorcycles when they were searching vehicles near Chaki Shahwani. Journalist Gunned Down in Haripur
Haripur: A journalist was shot dead in a commercial area of Haripur. Bakhsheesh Elahi, the bureau chief of Urdu-language daily K-2, was going to his office from his house on Lora Road when men on a motorcycle opened fire on him and sped away. Wanted Militant Commander Apprehended
Bannu: The police arrested a militant commander and recovered weapons from him. DPO Sadiq Baloch told the reporters that the police were informed about the presence of a militant commander Amin Shah aka Shah Jee at a tube-well in Bahadur area in Janikhel. He said the police conducted a raid, arrested the militant and recovered a repeater gun, two hand-grenades and cartridges from him. The News

Allocation for FATA in Budget Insufficient
Political leaders and social activists have termed the allocations for FATA in the federal budget as insufficient. 26.9 billion rupees were allocated for FATA in the current budget.
