12 Dead, 40 Hurt in Afghan Attack during Census

30 Indian Fishermen Remanded

Kurram Agency: The Kurram Agency political administration and security forces held a Jirga with the tribal elders for restoration of durable peace in the agency. The tribal elders were directed to remain vigilant in their areas and keep an eye on suspected people in the respective areas. National Assembly to Approve Tribal Areas Riwaj Act in Next Session
Islamabad: Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has directed Law, Minister Zahid Hamid, to place the Tribal Areas Riwaj Act 2017 and the consequential amendments in the forthcoming session of National Assembly for consideration. Census Deferred in some Areas of Khyber
Khyber Agency: The Khyber Agency Political Administration has deferred the process of census for an indefinite period in areas which have not been denotified as yet by the security forces. The administration is not able to conduct the census in ‘Closed Operation Areas’ which included, Akkakhel, Ouch Naw, Taju, Yagu Mela, Jhutt, and Kokikhel areas near Rajgal in Tirah valley. Dawn

FO Explains Why Pakistan Quit Saarc Satellite Project
Islamabad: India`s unwillingness to allow other SAARC countries to participate in the development of a SAARC satellite made Pakistan quit the project.
