Mohmand Agency: IED blast kills Khasadar in Safi
A local Khasadar soldier lost his life when an IED, planted at a security check post in Qandhari area of Safi Tehsil, exploded on 23 November 2016. A search operation was launched in the adjoining areas but no arrests could be made.[1]

Muzaffarabad: Heavy civilian casualties caused across Line of Control
Indian Border Security Force bombarded Pakistani civilians in a bus in Lawat Kanari area of Neelum Valley. The incident left 10 civilians and three army soldiers dead and 21 others injured on 23 November 2016.[2]

Khyber Agency: Political workers in FATA oppose referendum
The political leaders of FATA have opposed referendum on the future status of FATA and have emphasized the importance of quick action on implementing reforms. They were speaking at a group discussion organized by FATA Research Centre at the local press club.[3]

6600 MW electricity to be added in national grid by next year
The Ministry for Water and Power has claimed that by next year, 6,600 MW of electricity will be added to the system, thereby ending the energy crisis of the country.[4]
