Mohmand agency: Security forces arrest 54 tribesmen in Safi tehsil
According to sources, the law enforcement agencies arrested 54 tribesmen belonging to Safi tehsil on November 14, under the collective territorial responsibility clause of FCR. According to Assistant Political Agent for Upper Mohmand Agency, Haseeb Ur Rahman, the tribesmen were arrested after failing to handover culprits involved in an IED attack that killed a pro-government elder, a day earlier.
Peshawar: Anti-terrorism court acquits four alleged ISIS members
The judge of a local anti-terrorism court, on 14 November, acquitted four alleged members of Islamic State due to lack of proofs provided by the prosecution. The accused were arrested by Counter Terrorism Department on 19 February 2016 near Mathra area against the charges of distribution of anti-polio and pro-militant pamphlets to people.
Swat: Police arrests a suspected militant in Kot Charbagh area
According to a police official, an alleged militant, identified as Abdullah, was arrested by police in Kot Charabagh area on 14 November 2016. The accused was involved in anti-state activities and was wanted by law enforcement agencies since 2010. A case under terrorism charges was lodged against him.
Charsadda: Security forces arrest 12 alleged suspects in Saro Kalay
During a joint operation carried out by Police and Pakistan military, 12 suspected militants were arrested in the vicinity of Saro Kalay Police Station in Shabqadar on 14 November. The search and strike operations concluded with recovery of huge cache of arms and ammunition from the possession of the miscreants. The suspects were taken to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
Dera Bugti: Miscreants fire rockets on FC check posts in Dera Bugti
Unknown malefactors fired two rockets from various directions on Frontier Constabulary check posts located in Dera Bugti. However, no loss of life or property was done as the rockets hit an open area. FC personnel launched a search operation in the area to apprehend the culprits.
Gujranwala: CTD arrests three suspected militants in Eminabad
According to a spokesman of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), three suspected member of banned militant outfit ISIS (Daesh) were arrested in an anti-terror raid in Eminabad, Gujranwala on 14 November. The spokesperson added that a CTD team acted on a tip-off regarding presence of three ISIS members, who were plotting attack on a shrine in Gujranwala, and arrested the culprits while recovering 1,900 grams of explosive material from their possession.

Muzaffarabad: Seven Pak army personnel embrace martyrdom on LoC
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an unprovoked firing from the Indian side across the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, killed seven Pakistan Army soldiers. The Pakistani troops retaliated to the unwarranted shelling by the Indian forces and effectively targeted Indian check posts.
Peshawar: 40,000 houses in Karak and Hangu to get gas
A high level meeting of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak and Federal Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was held at the Pak Secretariat in Islamabad, to discuss provision of gas facility and infrastructure development program costing Rs. 7 Billion to Karak and Hangu districts of KP. The meeting was attended by members of National Assembly including Dr. Imran Khattak. Sheheryar Afridi and Provincial Minister Muhammad Atif Khan along with other relevant federal and provincial authorities. The gathering concluded with the decision that 40,000 house will be provided gas facility in several phases.
The ministry of petroleum and natural resources asks OGRA not to increase gas prices
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, the ministry notified the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to maintain gas prices at the existing level. A letter from the ministry to OGRA, requested the regulatory not to invoke a binding law to notify an increase in gas prices.
