Mohmand Agency: Political administration demolishes militant hideouts
A search operation was conducted on November 15, 2016 and six houses allegedly belonging to militants were destroyed in Qandharai Area of Safi Tehsil. Political administration of the agency, along with security personnel and elders of the region conducted this search operation.[1]

Buner: Bomb Disposal Unit official killed in a target killing
Unidentified gunmen shot a bomb disposal unit official dead on November 15, 2016 in Gogai Kanda area of Buner. Assailants fled the crime scene quickly and despite the lodging of an FIR and search operation against them, they were not caught.[2]

Bajaur Agency: Political leaders express concerns over delay in FATA reforms
Leaders of various political parties affiliated to Bajaur Political Parties Alliance voiced their reservations regarding the delay in bringing about reforms in FATA. They also mirrored the disappointment of tribal people, accusing the federal government for prolonging the process.[3]

PTI’s decision of boycotting the Turkish President’s address unflinching, says Imran
The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan has said that his Party has mulled over its decision to boycott the Turkish President’s address after request of the Turkish Ambassador. Their decision, however, remains unflinching to avoid the joint parliamentary session to be held on 17 November 2016.[4]

South Waziristan Agency: Repatriation to culminate by the end of 2016: COAS
General Raheel Sharif, Chief of the Army Staff, while inaugurating a number of development projects in North Waziristan and South Waziristan Agencies, has directed the authorities to ensure repatriation of remaining displaced persons by the end of this year.[5]
Orakzai Agency: 900 displaced families rehabilitated to their homes
According to a statement issued by the Frontier Corps on 15 November 2016, 900 displaced families from Orakzai Agency have been rehabilitated to their homes. These families belong to Bizote, Utmankhel, and Ferozkhel tribes and have been sent back to Adanna Khulla, Ublan, Sara Mela, and Peto Mela areas of the Agency.[6]
