KHAR, June 8: At least seven people were injured in a road side remote-controlled bomb blast in Dabar area of Mamond Tehsil in Bajaur agency here on Thursday evening, FRC learnt. The victims were on way to their homes from a nearby shop when the incident took place in Dabar, a far flung area of Mamond tehsil located some 22 KM away from Khar, the Agency headquarters.
According to officials of political administration, at least seven persons wounded in the blast, while a number of others remained unhurt. The wounded were identified as Abdul Hakeem, Inayatullah, Najeebullah, Noor Rahman, Gul Munir, Abubakar and Sulman Khan.
Residents of the nearby localities reached to the spot soon after the explosion and shifted the wounded to the agency headquarters hospital in Khar for treatment, where the condition of the some victims was still stated to be critical.
No one has claimed responsibility for the blast till filling of this report.
