Dera Ismai Khan – April 21, 2017: Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Police officials in Topanawala Bazar in front of a street food shop, killing two officials on the spot, on Friday. The officials were returning from duty when they were attacked. The dead have been identified as Waqas and Kamran and they were deployed in RIU as per reports.
Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Hakimullah Shaheed group has claimed responsibility of the incident, claiming that two officials were killed while several others were injured as well. The responsibility claim was made by TTP Hakimullah Shaheed Group’s spokesperson, Qari Saifullah Saif Mahsud.
