Nangarhar: The Special Forces killed three key ISIS group members during an operation in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The Provincial Governor’s Office in a statement said the Special Forces of the National Directorate of Security conducted a raid in Momandara district. Uruzgan: The Afghan Special Forces stormed a key Taliban compound in Uruzgan province of Afghanistan, the Special Operations Corps. According to a statement released by Special Operations Corps, the Special Forces stormed the Taliban compound in Dehrawood district .The statement further added that the Special Forces killed 4 Taliban militants during the operation. Furthermore, the Special Operations Corps said the Special Forces destroyed the Taliban compound and all its facilities during the raid. Parwan: he Afghan Special Forces killed 40 Taliban militants during an operation in Parwan province. The informed military sources said that the Special Forces killed the militants in Ghorband district. The sources further added that the Special Forces also arrested 13 Taliban militants during the same raid. Ghazni: The security forces conducted airstrikes in Khogyani and Geru districts of Ghazni province killing or wounding at least 23 militants. The Ministry of Defense in a statement said the security forces conducted the airstrikes. The statement further added that the airstrikes targeted the militants of Mullah Cable and Daru Khan, the two commanders of Taliban. Furthermore, the Ministry of Defense said the airstrikes killed 9 Taliban militants and wounded 14 others. The Taliban group has not commented regarding the airstrikes so far. Khaama
Kunar: The Afghan army conducted artillery strikes against the hideouts of ISIS terrorist group in eastern Kunar province. The 201st Silab Corps in a statement said the artillery strikes wounded 2 militants of the ISIS Khurasan group. The statement further added that the armed forces conducted the strikes in Sarono Khor area of Shegal district. Faryab: The Special Forces killed or wounded at least 50 Taliban militants during the operations in northern Faryab province. The Special Operations Corps in a statement said the Special Forces conducted joint clearance operations along the highway of Bulcheragh and Gurziwan districts in Faryab. The statement further added that the security forces inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants during the operation. Furthermore, the Special Operations said preliminary reports indicate the security forces killed or wounded at least 50 Taliban militants. The 203rd Thunder Corps said in a statement said the U.S. forces killed 4 Taliban militants and wounded 6 others by conducting an airstrike in Khogyani district of Ghazni. The statement further added that the airstrike also destroyed 6 motorcycles of the militants. Furthermore, the Afghan forces killed a Taliban militant during an operation in Khoshamand district of Paktika province. The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the Afghan forces defused 11 Improvised Explosive Devices during the operations in Paktiya, Paktika and Ghazni provinces.
