Afghanistan: The Afghan forces conducted 104 Joint and Special Operations against the militant groups. Paktiya: The security forces carried out a series of airstrikes in two provinces in the past 24 hours killing at least 7 militants. Paktiya: A premature Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion killed three mine planters of Taliban in south-eastern Paktiya province. The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the explosion took place on a highway in Afzal Khel area of Ahmadabad district. The statement further added that the militants were busy planting an IED on the roadside when it went off prematurely.
