Mohmand Agency: A tribal elder dies in an IED blast
According to Assistant Political Agent of Upper Mohmand Agency, Haseeb-ur-Rahman Khalil, a pro-government tribal elder was killed when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted near his house went off on 13th November. According to Mr. Khalil, Malik Dara Khan of Safi Tehsil sustained severe injuries when an IED planted by unknown assailants went off while he was leaving his house. Malik Dara Khan, a former head of peace committee in the area, was shifted to headquarter hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Security agencies arrested 33 tribesmen under the clause of “collective territorial responsibility” during search operations in the adjoining areas and shifted them to Ghalanai lockup for interrogation.[1]

Tank: TTP commander killed in the vicinity of Mulazai police station.
A local commander of TTP Tank Chapter, Osman was killed along with two of his accomplices by a local person of tank. According to the father of one of the deceased accomplices of Osman, a local named Wasiullah opened fire on the TTP commander accompanied by two other locals after a heated argument. The TTP commander along with his two accomplices was killed on the spot while the assailant managed to escape. Police lodged FIR against the accused and started investigation.[2]

Karachi: Gen Raheel Sharif visits those injured in Shah Noorani Shrine blast
Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, on November 13, visited Civil Hospital in Karachi to inquire about the health of the people injured in the suicide attack at Shah Noorani shrine in Hub, Balochistan. According to Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations, (ISPR), Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa, all the wounded had been shifted to different hospitals for treatment and the authorities were doing their utmost to provide the best medical assistant to the injured victims of the suicide attack. This is the second major attack claimed by the terrorist outfit, ISIS (Daesh), in the outgoing year.[3]

Gwadar: PM Nawaz Sharif inaugurates first cargo shipment activity at Gawadar port
An inauguration ceremony was held at Gwadar port to mark the departure of the first cargo shipment vessel from Pakistan to different regions. The ceremony was attended by Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong and ambassadors of other countries. PM Nawaz Sharif, while addressing a gathering at the event, marked the day as the start of a new era of prosperity for Pakistan and fulfillment of the dream of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.[4]
