Landikotal, Feb 13, 2015: The Pakistan Air Force combat air crafts continued targeting the suspected hideouts of militants in the far flung Tirah valley and Jamrud sub-division of Khyber Agency as here on Thursday as many as seven militants were killed while fifteen others were injured in fresh aerial strikes, FRC learnt.
According to ISPR statement the war planes targeted areas of Jamrud sub-division including Dwa Toai, Saray, Sheikh Kot and Tor Dara while Speen Drang, Nangrossa and Gari Kamar Khel of Bara sub-division.
It was also revealed by the ISPR that the air planes targeted the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan sanctuaries in Jamrud while Lashkar-e-Islam hideouts in Bara sub-division.
In the strikes at least seven sanctuaries of insurgents, of TTP and LI, were also destroyed.
It merits mentioning here that the Bara sub-division was cleared of militants through military operations that started back in 2009 however the complete elimination has not been made possible as on 16th October 2014 ‘Khyber-1’ military operation was launched in Bara sub division against militants by military authorities that is still going on.
