LANDIKOTAL, Nov 11: At least two militants were killed and three others were injured during a skirmish between militants and the security forces in Jamrud sub division of Khyber Agency here on Tuesday. In the attack two security personnel were also injured, FRC learnt.
The security forces claimed to have recovered two abductees from Lashora and Shangar areas of Jamrud tehsil after the clash with miscreants.
It was learnt and confirmed by the political administration that in the fight two personnel of security forces also sustained bullets injuries that have been shifted to military run hospital in Peshawar.
In another development form the agency the security forces claimed to have killed nine militants and eleven others were injured during a clash between the militant belonging to banned Lashkar-e-Islam and the security forces in Tirrah valley of Bara Tehsil.
The ISPR has issued a press note that since the start of operation Khyber 1, 135 terrorists have been killed including some important militant commanders adding that another 250 militants including their key commanders have laid their weapons and surrendered to the forces in Khyber Agency.
