Kurram Agency, September 18: Health department started Malaria prevention movement by free medical checkup camp, providing treatment to patients and distributing Mosquito nets in Tribal Areas.
According to the details: Free medical camp was held in Mali Khail, Upper kurram Agency. According to Agency Surgeon Doctor Moueen begum in the camp they tested close to 550 patients and 50 of them are affected by virus malaria. Healthcare staff were there for the treatment of the patients and to guide people to make them aware how to prevent there selves from Malaria. Mosquito net was distributed in around 500 people for their protection.
Tribes appreciated the malaria prevention movement and cordially thanked the Health department & Government and demanded for more initiatives in that malaria prevention movement.
