Tank, Jan 12, 2015: Jamaat-Ul-Ihrar official spokesman, Ehsan Ullah Ehsan, claimed the responsibility of Imam-Bargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi bomb blast that happened in Chatian Hatian area of Rawalpindi on Friday where at least 8 people were killed while 16 were left injured, FRC learnt.
The spokesman took the responsibility via sending an electronic mail to FRC here on Saturday.
“TTP Jamat-Ul-Ihrar claims the responsibility of bomb blast at Imam-Bargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi where eight Shias’ were killed and fifteen others were injured”, said Ehsan Ullah Ehsan in the mail.
The spokesman of Jamaat-Ul-Ihrar has vowed to continue attacks against their enemies in the country.
“We will continue to target the enemies of Islam in future also”, added further by the spokesman.
The organization has warned the Shia’s community of Pakistan to get ready for barbarism in the days to come as they are determined to fight and die for the sake of Islam whatever the cost may be.
“We want to tell one thing very clear to these infidel rulers and Shias’ of the country that we will never bow in front of your coward tactics, is shape of Parliament Acts and our fellow executions, employed against us”, said Mr. Ehsan.
According to FRC reports few other banned militant groups, Jandullah and Aryana groups, also claims the responsibility of the incident but the Jamaat-ul-Ihrar statement looks more credible.
The bomb blast took place outside Imam-Bargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi in Chatian Hatian area of Rawalpindi where an Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) congregation was under way at the time of the explosion.
Police officer Raja Abdul Rasheed said that the authorities believe the bomber tried to go inside the Imam-Bargah when he was stopped at the entrance and he blew himself up.
