18th February 2016: Jamat ul Ahrar faction of TTP claimed responsibility for two separate terrorist attacks on security forces’ check-post in the Mohmand Agency on 18th February 18, 2016, the FRC learnt.
In an electronic message sent to the FRC, Ehsan ullah Ehsan, the Spokesman of the banned outfit claimed responsibility for the attacks on Khasadar forces in Karapa and Machni areas of Mohmand Agency.
“Our valiant fighters killed 7 personnel of Khassadar force in Karapa area and 2 personnel in Machni area and we [fighters of Jamat ul Aharar] will escalate our activities in the near future”, said Ehsan Ullah Ehsan.
“All the fighters managed to flee the scene after successfully achieving their targets”, added Ehsan Ullah Ehsan.
