KHAR, May 22, 2016: A personnel of Bajaur Levy force was killed when unknown militants opened fire at them in Laghari area of Mamond tehsil in Bajaur Agency late on Saturday evening, FRC Learnt. The attacker was also shot dead by a levy official soon after the incident while he was trying to escape from the spot.
The officials and an eye witness told FRC, that Jabin Khan a Havaldar in Bajaur Levies force along with a college was on the way to home from a check post in Laghari area when an unknown armed man opened fire at them. The personal of levies force returned the fire and killed the attackers.
The local administration has initiated investigation into the incident to find out the actual causes and motive behind the killing of a levy official.
Till the filing of the report none of the militant groups has claimed responsibility for the attack.
